SAMI-X Panantukan Seminar - Friday, April 26, 6:00-8:30pm | $50

Panantukan (often called Dirty Boxing or street-boxing) is an empty handed combat/self defense system. Relying on using non-traditional striking tools, panantukan focuses on fast, effective combat. Utilizing manipulation, trapping, and destruction techniques to win. Open to all experience levels, this course will challenge your coordination and improve your sparring and self-defense skills.

SAMI-X Knife Seminar - Saturday, April 27, 11:00-4:00pm | $100

This is a 5-hour, in-depth seminar and includes fees to test for your next level certification! The art of knife-fighting encompasses a wide range of techniques, strategies, and philosophies derived from diverse cultural backgrounds and martial arts disciplines. The practice requires masterful skill, agility, and mental acuity to effectively defend and attack with a knife in close combat. This seminar will focus on defensive knife tactics, control positions, and disarms among other aspects of fighting and defending with knives.

SAMI-X Axe Seminar - Sunday, April 28, 11:00-4:00pm | $100

This is a 5-hour, in-depth seminar and includes fees to test for your next level certification! Axe fighting is an ancient form of combat in which axes are used as weapons. Historically, axes have been popular weapons in many cultures, including Viking, Scottish, and Native American. In axe fighting, combatants use different types of axes, such as throwing axes, battle axes, and hatchets.Axe or tomahawk fighting is a specialized form of hand-to-hand combat that focuses on the use of these traditional weapons and includes both offensive and defensive moves. Some common techniques include chopping, slashing, and thrusting. Fighters also use footwork, body movement, and feints to gain an advantage over their opponent.
