Different Instructors

Sensei Tyson, our Chief Instructor, is passionate...

...he's passionate about helping kids and adults become better people.  More confident and self-assured and less afraid and uneasy about whatever they may face in life.  The vehicle for his passion is the martial arts.  Whether it's helping a 6 year old child with a karate skill or helping a 40 year old crime victim who is determined not be a victim next time, his passion is visible.  More than that It's visceral.  It exudes from his heart and soul and is his gift.   That's what makes him different from other instructors and it's what makes us different from other dojos and martial arts schools.  Come and experience his passion for yourself.

Sensei Shelly is a saint...

...at least that's what the parents say.  They also say she works miracles with young kids and has extraordinary patience.  You know the kids; the ones that act squirrelly, don't pay attention or are unable to focus - these are Sensei Shelly's kids.  She loves them and loves working with them.  And if it's possible to get them to attend, participate and, dare I say it, even behave through karate class, Shelly is the one who can make that happen.  Come see for yourself how Sensei Shelly can get things out of your kid you never thought possible.

Sensei Nate cares...

...not just about how your kid is doing on his forms or fighting skills; but how are they doing in school?  Are they treating mom and dad with respect?  Are they kind to their siblings and friends?  Sensei Nate understands the holistic nature of martial arts training.  He lives it and loves to bring it to life in his students.
